The agreement will save money through proactive care and improve access for communities.
Gastonia, NC – Kintegra Health has partnered with CHESS Health Solutions to provide high quality, lower cost value-based care resulting in more positive outcomes for patients across Central and Southern North Carolina. The agreement took effect January 1.
These two nationally recognized organizations will work together to care for patients through a value-based care model. Value-based care focuses on prevention, innovation, care coordination, waste reduction and information sharing. This model greatly enhances a provider’s ability to improve the quality of patient care, while lowering the cost of that care.
“We are very enthusiastic about our partnership with Kintegra Health. Their patient outcomes, quality, and high satisfaction scores are always positive. But more important, the mission and values of Kintegra Health and CHESS are focused on building healthy communities through coordinated and sustainable care. Kintegra Health is deeply committed to making life better for their patients.”
CHESS president Yates Lennon, MD
CHESS Health Solutions has collaborated with many health systems to make the transformation to value-based care by implementing innovative care models and establishing value-based contracts with insurance carriers. CHESS value partners include Catawba Valley Medical Group, Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital, AdventHealth Hendersonville, Northern Regional Hospital, Appalachian Regional Health System and Wake Forest Health Network.
